Karen Valerio

Operations Associate

Karen Valerio contributes to the maintenance and development of all LeSar teams through her multifaceted role on the Operations Team. With 10 years of academic leadership experience and community organizing, she brings a multidisciplinary educator’s perspective to human resources. She handles payroll, IT, office management, and special projects such as serving within LeSar’s tam engaged with California’s Emergency Rent Relief Program. Ms. Valerio has a bachelor’s degree in Africana Studies from Lehigh University and is a Master Candidate in the Latin American Studies program at the University of California, San Diego. Her interests include curriculum development, baking, and event planning.
