LDC collaborated with Los Angeles Metro (LA Metro) to conduct an in-depth analysis of their real estate portfolio, identifying potential sites for interim housing under the Homekey program. The team assessed multiple properties based on specific criteria such as space availability, proximity to amenities, and feasibility for modular construction. Each site was evaluated for its capacity to accommodate essential services, including 24-hour security, emergency vehicle access, and supportive services offices, while also considering site constraints like setbacks and existing infrastructure.

As a result of the study, LDC identified several optimal sites that met the criteria for interim housing development, providing LA Metro with a prioritized list of locations ready for modular construction and suitable for future Homekey program funding applications.
