Compensation Analysis
LDC partnered with the San Diego Housing Commission (SDHC) to conduct a comprehensive compensation benchmarking analysis within the homelessness services sector. The team collaborated with Moss Adams LLP to evaluate compensation levels for frontline workers, comparing them to the cost of living in San Diego. The analysis revealed significant gaps between current wages and the living wage necessary for sustainability, leading to recommendations for wage adjustments.
This work supports SDHC’s efforts to enhance workforce retention and improve service delivery.
