Plaza Hotel SRO Evaluation
LDC collaborated with the San Diego Housing Commission (SDHC) to evaluate the impact of the Plaza Hotel closure, a Single-Room Occupancy (SRO) property, on its former residents. The team conducted a detailed analysis of tenant population, transition processes, and long-term housing stability.
This evaluation provided critical insights into the effectiveness of SDHC’s Relocation Assistance Program, guiding future policy decisions to mitigate the negative effects of SRO closures on vulnerable populations.
